Olive Blush

So we got some intense snow here in Atlanta this past weekend. All told I think it was as much as 12 inches for some people, which is a LOT for us. Especially before January. I’m of the very unpopular opinion that winter is amazing, so of course I took this opportunity to put on my favourite olive coat and hat and go play in it (there was less aesthetic playing involving snowballs the following morning as well).

I love getting all bundled up in the winter time. Nothing beats snuggling with loved ones and a warm cuppa under a fluffy blanket. And it’s been unseasonably cold in Georgia for this time of year, so I’ve been bundling up just about everyday day. This coat from Asos is one of my two warmest coats (the other is from Express but it’s shorter) and even with it snowing all over me while taking these photos, I was nice and toasty. The hat is from a family owned shop in Paris that we passed on our way out of Mont Marte, so I don’t think you could get one unless you go to Paris (sorry!) BUT the scarf - which is one of my favorites - is from a Parisian H&M and available at most locations and online (link below). I would absolutely recommend grabbing one before they’re sold out. It’s sooo soft and warm and cozy, almost a blanket really. Very Lenny Kravitz. Definitely one of my go-to scarves recently. So all in all I was pretty well prepared for this weather (unlike the rest of Atlanta). Could’ve done with some gloves in this shoot though..

This was the snow the following day. It actually still hasn’t all melted. And yes, we absolutely lost power. Gotta love living in the south 👏🏾
